This place was a god send for my family, my oldest didn’t know how to respond or react to kids his age, and then we sent him here, we didn’t want it to be a shock for him once it was time for him to start school. Ascend prepared him for what school was going to be like, having a daily routine, working with adults other than family and having them instruct him, he absolutely loved this place and flourished here. We came two cities over daily so he could attend. The best ABA center in the 757 area by far. He bloomed into the boy he is today because of all the work, love and care they put into my son. I loved all of the staff they love what they do and it shows. They were so kind and understanding to my child and my family. They felt like family by the time my son started public school and they still check in with us. If you are looking for an ABA center, choose ascend!

Last week , I spoke to Jenel on the phone . She helped me figure out so much on what I should do with my son regarding Aba and moving.( We are moving out of state to Virginia) She spent so much time helping me and just explaining everything to me and answering all of my questions. Now while my son has not started yet, I’m convinced this is one of the best Aba schools in the Hampton roads area or maybe in general 😂. I am so excited for my son to start! They really seem to have a holistic approach to things and genuinely care for what’s best for the child. Thank you so much Jenel!

SARAH Lamont has dedicated her life to special needs children, She is very talented, and the best therapist in Tidewater and Across the country, as a parent in the Autism world I learned no one can compare to her. She worked with my son Omar since he was 3 years old till he pasted away at 10 from Pediatric Cancer. Sara Lamont was my brother’s BCBA from the time he was 3-10 years old. Her expertise in the field of behavioral therapy is the best in the area. Our family even switched over to her new company to stay with her as nobody else compared. She utilizes CHILD LED play, sensory regulation, and applied behavioral therapy techniques with all of her patients. When my brother became sick with cancer, she accommodated our family and my brother by adjusting the therapy schedule, providing him with realistic and appropriate goals, and even accompanied us to doctor visits and other events to develop a holistic plan regarding his behaviors. I HIGHLY recommend Ascend ABA. They are passionate, supportive and knowledgeable!

Hi! I have two sons with autism who have received ABA services from Ascend with ABA. They have come so far and are thriving because of the BCBAs and RBTs who have worked with them in terms of goals and accomplishments. Both my boys have had specialized intervention that was discussed and customized to each of their individual's needs. If I can explain how far my boys have come since they were diagnosed, it would take paragraphs. They are thriving in other services and school. The BCBAs and RBTs at Ascend have been kind to us and became a part of our family from the beginning. They made my boys always feel safe and would work with them patiently and would give them time to adapt whenever a new goal was introduced. They made our experience fun and my boys always looked forward to ABA therapy throughout the week. I recommend this company and would work with them again repeatedly. They are so encouraging and will work with you and your child. It starts with you and your child, it only goes up from there. ❤️
